I'm Abigail (she/her), and this is what the lower half of my face looks like!
My pride and joy Gold & Braid Salon resides in Studio 2 at Sola Salon Studios in The Woodlands, Texas. My career started with a love for all things artistic and expressive, which led me to enroll at the Aveda Cosmetology Institute. By the time I graduated, the art of hair had stolen my heart for good.

I see "beauty" differently. There's no one-size-fits-all formula. No two guests that sit in my chair are the same and no two stories are alike.

While most stylists work to achieve an inspiration photo and send you on your way, I see my role as your stylist a bit differently. I work with all of my guests to create a long-term plan for the style & health of your hair so there’s never a time you feel bored!

In the last few years, I've realized my favorite services to perform are the low maintenance, long lasting, enhanced versions of what you've been blessed naturally with so you can confidently carry on your busy, professional life.

I am dedicated to continuing education, and attend as many classes as I can to advance my skills and keep up to date on what's new in the world of beauty. By travelling to hair shows I am constantly bringing back new ideas to keep a fresh perspective on your look!
When I’m not slaying hair and making Tiktoks, I try to find time to watch whatever’s new on Netflix or try a new dish at some trendy restaurant.
